As the Word of the Lord was spoken to King Solomon, regarding prayer, so God’s Word applies to us today.
God does not change. He is the same “yesterday, today, and tomorrow”.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Our nation is sinful, we have turned from God, and we are reaping the ravages of our sinful lifestyle.
Let us humble ourselves and pray, not only today but daily (2 Timothy 2:1-3)
